The Tintern Grammar Alumni (TGA) is still young, forging its own way into history alongside its older sister. Unfortunately, the TGA launch and networking event was cancelled amongst the lockdowns, but they are excited to offer events in 2022, commencing with their 2nd Birthday Bash (see save the date below).
We are also grateful for TGA’s kindness in recently coordinating and supporting Care packs for our Year 12 students who have experienced extraordinary circumstances during their senior college years.
Since 2020 a membership fee is paid to the TGA upon enrolment. Alumni from previous years are welcome to join by downloading a membership form on our webpage: https://www.tintern.vic.edu.au/community/alumni/ and emailing to alumni@tintern.vic.edu.au

Tintern Grammar Alumni’s Year 12 Care Packages
The TGA (Tintern Grammar Alumni) recently provided care packages to support the year 12 students in preparation for their final exams after what has been an extremely challenging couple of years.
The TGA committee are passionate about bringing current students, alumni and the wider school community together in all that we do. As a way of supporting the wider school community as well as the Year 12s, we invited businesses in the Tintern Grammar community to include items in these care packages. We were blown away by the generosity of the individuals and businesses who enthusiastically donated various products to help the students de-stress, smile and find the motivation for their final exams.
The bags contained a range of goodies including: a stress ball, cookie, bamboo cutlery, a colouring book, Warrior Princess by alumna Belinda Collins (YG 1991), clay resin magnet/bookmark, highlighters, fun socks, hand sanitiser, hand cream, a custom reusable face mask, lollies/chocolate and many more items to support our Year 12 students.
The custom reusable face masks in the care packages included a design from one of the Year 12 Visual Arts students- a special memento for the year 12 group.
We sincerely thank the many alumni and current families who donated towards these packages. We’d particularly like to note the businesses in our school community who generously supported the TGA’s project, we greatly appreciate your generosity:
