Our Class of 2021 Duces
Our Principal, Brad Fry recently caught up with our Class of 2021 Duces, Oliver Huang (VCE Dux) Marlin Ma (International VCE Dux), Holly Whitfield (IB & Overall Dux), Alec Chen (IB & Overall Dux), Sarah Chen (IB & Overall Dux) and Joshua Choong (IB & Overall Dux). 2021 was an unprecedented year, with 6 duces in total (usually 3). Tintern Big Freeze
The Student Leadership Team organized a Big Freeze fundraiser at Tintern for Friday 10 June.
In addition to selling MND Beanies, teachers volunteered to participate in the ice bucket challenge, and we saw many creative costumes for the event.
House Athletics Carnival 2022
On Friday 11 March, Tintern Grammar held the annual House Athletics Carnival at Bill Sewart Athletics Track, in Burwood. With the weather being perfect for competition, the students were able to compete to the best of their ability for their house. The house spirit and participation throughout the day was high, with students and staff cheering on their houses. The competition remained extremely close for the entire day, ensuring results in each event were vital to the overall positions at the end of the carnival. There was only 145 points separating first from fifth in the overall standings. Congratulations to all students for a competing for their house.

Annual Inter-School Horse Trials 2022
Congratulations to the Tintern Equestrian team who competed at their new venue in the Inter-school Horse Trial Championships 2022 on the weekend of the 21 and 22 May 2022.
A special thank you to the Tintern Friends of Equestrian (FOE) for helping make this event such a success. The team, led by Sherie Vicary-Carter and Nelaana Heinrich, worked incredibly hard to organise an amazing weekend, which saw participants from over 60 schools.
Thank you also to the Friends of Music Committee who kept everyone fed with their delicious sausage sizzle over the event.
