Congratulations to the Class of 2019

Our Year 12 VCE students received their results last Thursday. We are very pleased to share that our students’ results across the board have been very strong and we congratulate our VCE cohort for their hard work and dedication to achieve these results. We are also very pleased to share an improvement in our median ATAR to 77.1 (2018 – 72.4), which is an outstanding result.

Below is a brief summary of our VCE results.

• Congratulations to our VCE Dux, Oscar De Jong who achieved an ATAR of 99.4
• Congratulations to our International Dux, Zhaoxuan (Steven) Li, who achieved an ATAR of 94.9
• 1.37% of Tintern VCE students achieved an ATAR score above 99
• 4.11% of Tintern VCE students achieved an ATAR score above 97
• 19.18% of Tintern VCE students achieved an ATAR score above 90
• 31.51% of Tintern VCE students achieved an ATAR score above 85
• 41.10% of Tintern VCE students achieved an ATAR score above 80
• Median ATAR 77.1 (72.4 last year)

These results reflect the hard work of our students and the support and excellent teaching provided here at Tintern Grammar. The school community joins with family and friends of our VCE graduates in congratulating all our students and wishing them our best for the exciting adventures that await them.

On 3 January 2020, our International Baccalaureate Diploma cohort will receive their results and we will then have a complete picture of our Year 12 results. We look forward to congratulating our IB students in January and sharing both their success and our combined results for the Class of 2019.
