Thank you to the Alumni who joined us on Thursday 5 May the Tintern Grammar students and staff at St Paul’s Cathedral for our annual Cathedral Service.
This year our theme was, ‘Dear World, Love God’ with John 3:16 as our main focus. Throughout the service the music, the prayers and the sermon all reflected this theme and linked together to remind students of God’s love for creation, and God’s love for us.
Our preacher was the Rev’d Dr John Capper who enthralled the students with his reflection on this theme. The 7m wide Globe hanging and rotating slowly at the front of the Cathedral meant that our world was central to the whole service.
